Dr Sid and Simi Osomo's introduction set to hold tomorrowo


The introduction ceremony of Mavin artist, Dr Sid and his fashion consultant fiancee Simi Osomo will hold tomorrow in Lagos, I have been reliably informed. Their wedding will hold next year. The couple got engaged on August 7th this year after dating for over a year. Big congrats to them. 

Exclusive: Omotola Jalade Ekeinde's husband creates Tourist Center

The pilot husband of Nollywood actress, Omotola Jolade-Ekeinde, Captain Mathew Ekeinde recently opened an entertainment and tourist center in Badagry called “Aquatic Jungle Entertainment”. The center has planes as part of its tourist and entertainment attractions.

The center has facilities for recreation and entertainment ranging from modern zoo, indoor and outdoor aquarium, and a 5 star hotel that gives room for boat ride. The center has two airplanes and is expecting five more before the end of next year.

Pastor Adeboye Welcomes Millions of Worshippers for the 2013 RCCG Holy Ghost Congress

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, starting from December 7, 2013, Saturday, will play host to millions of worshippers from different parts of the world at the 2013 edition of the church's Holy Ghost Congress.

The programme scheduled for one week at the sprawling Redemption Camp along the busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, has a unique theme 'The Overflow.'

The Redemption Camp, which is now home to many residential apartments, educational institutions, hospitality units and a few banks came into being in 1985 to host the monthly all-night Holy Ghost service that features praise, worship, scriptural exposition, prayers and personal ministrations in answer to Pastor Adeboye's request that God should rain His blessings upon the congregation.

ASUU: SSANU, LASU Chapter Vows To Continue Strike

Striking Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Lagos State University (LASU), chapter, on Friday vowed that it would continue strike until its demands were met.

The Chairman of the chapter, Mr Oseni Saheed, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

He said that the union was dissatisfied with the manner the university's Governing Council was handling the strike.

ASSU STRIKE: University Of Ibadan Announces Resuption Date

The University of Ibadan (UI) is set to resume teaching activities on January 4, 2014. This decision was announced by the Governing Council of the institution and was based on the directives of the Committee of Pro-Chancellors of Federal Universities and the National Universities Commission. However, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) said strike still on.
