Nigerian Beauty Queen Remanded In Prison For Fraud

A Nigerian beauty queen ,Miss Asaigbo' who reportedly duped two people of the sum of N7.5 million has been arrested.

Miss Asaigbo, a beauty queen and an Accounting student of Enugu state University of Science and Technology (ESUT) was arrested for her alleged involvement in fraud.

The crown prince of Abu Dhabi 'Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan' on Wednesday, June 14 ordered the renaming of the Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed mosque in Al Mushrif, a district in Abu Dhabi, UAE, to ‘Mariam, Umm Eisa’

Mariam Umm Eisa is an Arabic name which translates to ‘Mary, the mother of Jesus’ in English. 

The Cable reports that the crown prince ordered the renaming in order “to consolidate bonds of humanity between followers of different religions.

Disclosing even more details about his criminal activities prior to his arrest, Naij reports that Evans recalled how himself and his gang attacked a bullion van carrying N200m cash.

He reportedly confessed to this during a session with journalists on Friday, June 16.

According to him, the attack was one of three such attacks carried out by his gang.

Mother Abandoned HIV Positive Baby By The Roadside In Edo State

A baby tested HIV-positive has been found and rescued after been abandoned on the roadside by the mother in Benin Edo State.

A Nigerian woman identified as, Cecelia James, shared photos of the baby on social media after the child was rescued. 

We gathered that the baby was rescued along the roadside in Edo state. 

According to James, when the newborn was rescued doctors took some tests and confirmed that the child was HIV positive. 

James who shared the post with photos of the baby on Facebook in other to find the child’s parents, stated that funds would be provide to take care of the baby if the mother comes for her child. 

She urged people to help her find the mother so the baby can get proper care instead of going back to the streets. The was rescued from where it was abandoned on the roadside.
