King of Fuji Music, Wasiu Ayinde Anifowose popularly known as KWAM 1 is a happy man and also proud father as he is set to give three of his daughters out in marriage next month.

The legendary fuji star obviously seem to be having so many celebrations and he is set to paint Ogun state red next month as he is also going to be celebrating his 57th birthday the same week with his daughters marriage (Nikkhai) ceremonies.
The ceremonies will be held at his newly built multi-million naira mansion in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

The party train starts with his own birthday on Monday, March 3, 2014, and on the 4th of March, the following day; one of his daughters Hidayat will have her Nikhai ceremony. Another one, Aminat will also have hers on the 6th of March, while Sekinat will have hers on the 9th of March all in the same week.

Seun Kuti Under Fire Over Choice Of Daughter’s Name

Seun Kuti, son of late Afro-beat king, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti who recently welcomed a new baby with his girlfriend/ back-up dancer, Yetunde Ademiluyi in December 2013 is under heavy criticism over the choice of his daughter's name.



A low profile naming ceremony was held for the baby on Saturday, February 8th at his residence in Ikeja, Lagos and Seun's beautiful daughter  was christened ‘Ifafunmike’ which means “A child gotten from a deity”.
This action has not gone down well with many of his fans. A fan who pleaded anonymity said that what Seun did is an indication that there is more to it than meets the eye.

“Why will Seun go ahead and name his new-born baby ‘Ifafunmike’? It is rather absurd and shows that there is a spiritual undertone to the event. It is ungodly. His contemporaries who have been getting married and delivering babies have not done this kind of thing. I am disappointed,” said the fan.

Former beauty queen, Omowunmi Akinnifesi, life couldn't be any rosier. The former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria queen is allegedly currently enjoying the 'attention' of a top shot in Aso Rock.

The 'closeness', was ignited two years ago, and the two 'friends' have been making each other happy ever since. The Aso Rock top shot shares the name with a Hollywood movie legend. He is a former journalist and activist, and also one of the closest associates of President Goodluck Jonathan.

A close source alleges that this Aso Rock top shot has been spoiling Omowunmi since their 'friendship' began. He was reported to have financed her post graduate programme at Kings College, London, from where she bagged a Master of Science degree in Environmental, Modelling, Monitoring and management in 2012.

Omowunmi bagged her first degree in Geography and Regional Planning from the University of Lagos. Presently, she runs Ella Poise, an ushering agency in Lagos. Described as being very savvy, Omowunmi has been reportedly linked with a couple of financially loaded guys in the past however, her current flame seems to hold a very special place in her life at the moment.
