Providing this information in a communique issued after its National Executive Council, NEC, in Minna, Niger State, NMA President, Dr. Osahon Enabulele, and Secretary-General, Dr. Akpofuoma Pemu, said the decision was based on the extremely poor progress in the resolution of NMA’s demands.

However, they explained that in recognition of the Yuletide and appeals of well-meaning Nigerians, the withdrawal of services in the first instance would be for a period of 5 days but would recommence after the Yuletide.

They said: "We call on members of the public and the media to bear with the association during this period of withdrawal of services."

Actor Saheed Balogun Fights Back, Exposes Fathia Balogun's BIG SECRET

photo

Actress, Fathia Balogun recently claimed that her ex-husband and actor, Saheed Balogun is suing her over use of his surname.

The actor has admitted that they indeed are in court but it has nothing to do with the surname. He also released a press statement which made it clear that he only has TWO children with his ex-wife and not three, as people believed. Saheed Balogun made it known that he did not father Fathia Balogun's first child.

Read his statement below;

Yesterday I was accused of lying to the press on a recent rumor that has been circulating. I separated from my ex-wife Fathia Balogun in 2006, over 7 years ago. Since we were LEGALLY MARRIED IN COURT, we had to LEGALLY DIVORCE IN COURT to finalize the issue. The public is welcome to go to the Lagos High Court to verify these records. This has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY NAME! I AM NOT ASKING OR FORCING FATHIA TO STOP USING THE NAME BALOGUN, as it is one of the most common Yoruba names.

Jonathan Under Pressure From Kinsmen To Tame Obasanjo, Others

Indications have emerged that President Goodluck Jonathan was under pressure by his Ijaw kinsmen in the Niger Delta to compel the anti-graft agencies to initiate corruption charges against former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

It was learnt that the Ijaw leaders were of the opinion that the former president was becoming over-bearing and asked President Jonathan to tame him and other leaders of the opposition groups ahead of the 2015 general elections.

Findings showed that Jonathan was being prompted to probe the Obasanjo administration from 1999 to 2007 in order to whittle down the influence of the former head of state.

"Obasanjo’s Letter To Jonathan Naked Truth"

Former president Olusegun Obasanjo’s letter to President Goodluck Jonathan is nothing but the naked truth in its purest form and the ink of that letter was extracted from the tears and blood of suffering Nigerians, the President of Civil Rights Congress of Nigeria (CRC) Comrade Shehu Sani has said.

According to Sani, the Jonathan administration has long lost the goodwill of ordinary Nigerians, and he noted that it has lost the patience of its architects. He said Obasanjo’s letter echoes the wailing of widows and orphans and the cries of all oppressed Nigerians.
