It's time for me to go back to my family and face fresh challenges - Keshi

After Super Eagle's loss to France yesterday, coach Stephen Keshi revealed that he is quiting the team.
Following this, 100 time capped defender, Joseph Yobo also explained that he was quitting in a statement with BBC Sports:

"This is it! I can look back on my career with great pride. I wanted to leave on a high for my country. Defeat by France was not the right way to go but I'm happy with all I've done for the national team. It's time to give a chance to other people to come through. Our football has a bright future and I am confident this team can achieve success sooner rather than later.''

Coach, Stephen Keshi also added that:

"It's time for me to go back to my family and face fresh challenges."

Heavy Bomb Blast Rips Through A Popular Market In Maiduguri

It beats my imagination that this people who called themselves Boko Haram are still killing innocent people who know nothing about their fight, even during fasting period. Chai! is this not suppose to be a holy season?

According to report, heavy bomb blast rocked the busy Monday Market in Maiduguri, capital of Borno State, killing many who had gone to their market for their legitimate businesses. A Borno government state government official confirmed the blast to SR, saying the causality number is very high but stated that security agencies are working to secure the area and rescue victims…

Eyewitnesses told SR that the bomb went off during a busy morning at vicinity of the market. The real number of casualties in the unfortunate incident could not be immediately verified as security agencies are said to have condoned off the scene to secure the market. This is like the first major bombing by Islamist sect Boko Haram since the beginning of the Ramadan. Smh!

For those who had any doubts, Stephen Keshi, took to his twitter account to confirm he’s quitting the Super Eagles. See Yobo’s announcement confirming his resignation as a player for the Super Eagles after the cut…

Joseph Yobo yesterday evening announced his resignation as a player for the super eagles.  Yobo after the 2-1 lost match to France, told reporters that it was time for him to go face his family.
“It was a bitter-sweet moment for me but I think it is time to focus on my family. It has been a long road. I never thought that I’d be here because I missed the last six games of the season through injury. They gave me an opportunity but it is unfortunate what happened. I gave my all,” he said.
Yobo follows in the step of Kanu Nwankwo who announced his retirement after the World cup in 2010. The 33 year old defender said he would like to concentrate on club football now.

The Cardo-produced track was originally planned to be featured in Jay-Z's 'Magna Carta' album before being released as the title track of Jeezy's LP that's coming out on September 2.

Young Jeezy a.k.a. Jeezy has teamed up with Jay-Z for his new single, "Seen It All". Produced by Cardo, the track was originally planned to be featured in Hova's chart-topping album "Magna Carta... Holy Grail" before being passed to Jeezy who later decided to release it as the title track of his upcoming album.

This won't be Jeezy and Jay-Z's first time to do a collaboration. In the past, the two rappers have worked together on some tracks including "Go Crazy", "Real as It Gets", "I Do" and the remix of "Put On".

Jeezy has announced that his "Seen It All" album will officially hit the stores on September 2. That happens to be the same day he released his acclaimed third LP "The Recession" six years ago.

He recently revealed what to expect from the follow-up to 2011's "Thug Motivation 103: Hustlerz Ambition" in an interview. "This is gonna be your bible, this is gonna be your manual," he told MTV. "I'm not gonna tell you that everything gonna be okay, that everything's gonna be alright, but the moral to the story is never quit, never let up. A win is a win. That's what this album is about."

Beyonce Top Forbes List Of The 100 Richest Celebrities In The World

Beyonce Knowles tops this year's list of Celebrity 100 by Forbes. The "Single Ladies" singer knocks Oprah Winfrey out of the first place this year as the media mogul sits at No. 4. The second place is taken by LeBron James, while Dr. Dre takes the third spot. Ellen DeGeneres rounds out the top five.

The magazine compiles the list based on fame and money. The ranks are decided after they obtained info regarding stars' estimated income from entertainment-related activities from June 1, 2013 to June 1 2014 by talking to lawyers, producers, agents and other people in the entertainment industry. The celebrities' fame, meanwhile, was measured by social media power and how many times each star was mentioned in printed media, on TV and radio.

During the period, the former Destiny's Child member cashed in an estimated $115 million. She gained success with her tour which raked in $2.4 million per stop, according to Pollstar. Her album "Beyonce" was also popular with its single "Drunk in Love" having sold more than 1 million copies. In addition to her music, the mother of one took part in campaigns for various companies such as H&M and Pepsi.

James, who is placed second, gained about $72 million last year with endorsing gigs for Coke and McDonald's among others. Dr. Dre, meanwhile, received a whopping $620 million in earnings last year due to Apple's purchase of Beats by Dre. Last year, Winfrey received approximately $82 million in earnings, while the host of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" gained $70 million.

Here’s Why You May Never Be Rich (and How To Change That)

What’s the worst thing that could happen if you went totally broke today? This is not a rhetorical question. Take a few seconds to answer it before you read further. What’s the very worst thing that could happen if you went dead broke today? Think about it for ten seconds. For most people our age, the answer is something like: “A lot would happen, but it would not totally destroy me.” Why? Because when you’re in your early to mid-twenties, let’s face it— being broke happens, a lot. And we survive it, because we are still young, with few responsibilities beyond ourselves. The most that would happen is that you move back in with your parents, spend a week thinking about your life, get over it and move on. Taking Risks Consider the life of a guy in his thirties. He is probably married with kids or a baby-on-the-way.

He has to pay for family food, rent, school fees for his kids, medical expenses for his wife and kids, clothes for his kids, PHCN (or whatever) bills, car fuel, generator fuel, little snacks his kids like, car maintenance and on and on. Going broke at this time is a disaster. That’s why the best time to take risks is now. Life is never going to be easier than this. You will never have more energy than right now. For many of us, we are in the best physical shape of our lives. We don’t have arthritis, severe back pain or any of the health problems older people face. It will never be easier than now. The best part of being young is that we have more time on our hands than we’ll ever have. Once you get married, visiting friends becomes a luxury. Your kids fill up your time and thoughts, almost completely. Is that when you want to start your dream business? Investing For the Future These are the best years to accumulate compound interest on a retirement investment. The easiest way for most people to get rich is to start early.
