Miley Cyrus
has joined the line-up of performers at 2013 MTV Europe Music Awards.
The 20-year-old star is expected to bring her newly-released album, "Bangerz", on the award show, which will be held at Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome on November 10.
Cyrus is joining previously-announced performers, which include Katy Perry and The Killers. Earlier this month, Perry confirmed that she would deliver the live performance of "Unconditionally", the second single off upcoming "Prism" album.
Cyrus and MTV have a history. Cyrus has received many backlashes for her raunchy performance with Robin Thicke at MTV Video Music Awards back in August. Stars like Pink, Jonas Brothers, Brooke Shields and Kelly Clarkson have voiced their negative opinions about Cyrus' twerking-filled appearance.
The nominations for this year's MTV EMAs are led by singer Justin Timberlake and rap duo Macklemore
& Ryan Lewis, who are bagging five nods each. The two entertainers
are set to compete in various categories that include Best Male, Best
Live, Best Video and Best Song.
Set to air in the U.S. on November 10 via the network, the upcoming annual show will be hosted by LMFAO's Redfoo. Singer Ariana Grande serves as a backstage host.
