A
man who has allegedly beheaded three persons in Agbabo Isu in Onicha
Local Government Area of Ebonyi State was apprehended by the local
police.
Mr. Emeka Okoro attacked a cattle rarer while he was feeding his cattle at about 2pm on Tuesday before slaughtering two other men.
After the incident, local residents and relatives of the deceased tried to retaliate and even lynch the suspect.
However, he was arrested by the police.
The corpses have been since deposited at the Onicha General Hospital mortuary.
The victims are Messrs Peter Awoke from Umuniko Isu, Sunday Nwaigwe from Umuniko Isu, and Ega of Agbabo - all in Onicha Local Government Area of the State.
The investigation is still in progress.
The State Coordinator of the organisation, Comrade Ogbonnaya Onu regretted the dastardly act saying that high level of unemployment and frustration must have led to such act and urged the State Governor, Martin Elechi to create job opportunity for the teeming youths in the state.
