BET Award 2015 Nominees And Winners List

Topping the list of performers during the ceremony were Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Kendrick Lamar, Meek Mill, Ne-Yo, Yazz, Serayah, and Jussie Smolett. The night's presenters included include Zendaya Michael B. Jordon, Laverne Cox, Sanaa Lathan and Michael Ealy.

And, after a seven year absence from recording, Janet Jackson was back to take the BET Awards stage as she receives the Ultimate ICON: Music Dance Visual Award.
In addition, Smokey Robinson received the Lifetime Achievement Honor along with radio host, Tom Joyner, who was with the Humanitarian Award.

2015 BET Awards Nominees & * Winners

As the summer heats up, the BET Awards causes a buzz of excitement with the latest news of favorite nominees and ultimate winners at one of black entertainment's most prestigious award shows.

This year, nominees were announced on May 18 followed by a glittering awards ceremony that took place on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 8PM ET on the BET cable channel, hosted this year by "Black-ish" stars Tracee Ellis Ross and Anthony Anderson.

Leading the pack among 2015 BET Awards nominees were Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown, both tied for six nods apiece. Coming in at a close second are Beyonce and Lil Wayne with four nominations each.
