FACT: Popularity Makes Children Choose Career In Entertainment World

These are factors why children aged between seven and 14, want to get into the world of entertainment, according to a survey by Adecco Malaysia, a leading human resource solutions company.

The survey interviewed respondents in the Klang Valley, Penang, Johor Baru and Malacca in mid-November and December last year.

Breaking News: President Jonathan Signs Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Bill into Law

In spite of protests from some countries, groups and activists President Goodluck Jonathan has signed into law the Bill which outlaws same sex marriage.

The assent to the bill was devoid of fanfare to reduce diplomatic tension, which it may likely attract.
Some foreign embassies were shocked by the development leading to ‘curious’ inquiries from the Federal Government. Despite the inquiries, the Federal Government said there was no going back.

The signed bill says the gays, lesbians in Nigeria will risk a 14-year jail term if they do not retrace their steps and renounce such marriage.

Also, any person who operates or participates in gay clubs, societies and organizations directly or indirectly will earn 10-year imprisonment. Those who administer witness, abet or aid the solemnisation of a same sex marriage are going to bag 10-year jail term.

The Senate previously passed the bill in November 2011. Lawmakers in Nigeria's house of representatives affirmed the decision by the Senate on May 29, 2013.

The President assented to the Act last week, on January 7, 2014, but the details on this action have just leaked the web.
“I certify that this Bill has been carefully compared by me with the decision reached by the National Assembly and found by me to be true and correct decision of the Houses and is in accordance with the provisions of the Acts Authentication Act Cap. A2, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004. I assent,” The assent note read.

10 Sure Ways To Improve Your Relationship

Relationships and marriage are not easy. When you've seen people who make it together for long, you know you are looking at two people who have fought, compromised, and stayed committed to one another through a lot. There's a lot to be learned from these people.

But relationships don't fail from big problems, at least not all the time. Very often, people end up splitting over the small things, especially once the small things add up.

With this in mind, here are 10 important ways you can improve your relationship with your significant other.

Apologize when you are wrong: Forget pride. If you realize you are wrong in a fight, admit it and say you are sorry. It will make a world of difference in terms of staying close.

Imagine the other person gone during a fight: There is no better way to stop a fight than to imagine losing or missing the other person. That sadness? That tightness in your chest? That's the love you feel for them.

Jonathan Under Pressure From Kinsmen To Tame Obasanjo, Others

Indications have emerged that President Goodluck Jonathan was under pressure by his Ijaw kinsmen in the Niger Delta to compel the anti-graft agencies to initiate corruption charges against former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Findings showed that Jonathan was being prompted to probe the Obasanjo administration from 1999 to 2007 in order to whittle down the influence of the former head of state.

OBASANJO'S LETTER: Femi Fani Kayode Blasts President Jonathan, READ What He Said

Outspoken former Aviation Minister, Femi Falana-Kayode is in the news again this time it's about his response to former President Obasanjo's open letter to President Jonathan.
photo
In the open letter the Angry Ex-president, Olusegun Obasanjo accused the President Jonathan of taking actions calculated at destroying Nigeria.

Read what Femi Fani Kayode had to say about the letter below
“OBJ has finally closed GEJ’s chapter with his letter. Jonathan is finished- mark my words. Abati should shut up and let his boss speak for himself on this one.
The Ebora Owu has spoken and the issues that he has raised are too serious to be ignored or to be responded to with amatuerish and cheeky insults and slurs from a mere staff of the Presidency.
The President should find the courage to personally answer the charges and address the message rather than get his aides to attack the messenger. As Baba said, Jonathan is “bleeding Nigeria to death”. It is time for change.
God used Obasanjo to put Jonathan in power and, by His grace, He will use that same Obasanjo to remove him.”
What do you think of Femi's Response?
