Oritsejafor Lauds Jonathan For Accepting Defeat To Buhari

With many taking a swipe at President Goodluck Jonathan, over the current fuel crisis which is threatening to ground the nation’s economy, President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor has lauded the outgoing president.


Speaking at the 2015 Presidential Thanksgiving and Interdenominational Church Service, Pastor Oritsejafor thanked President Jonathan for conceding defeat in the March 28 presidential election.
He lauded Jonathan’s classic humility in his official conducts as president while presenting an award of “outstanding Christian humility in public service’’ to the president for his commitment to the peace, Unity and Stability of the country, Daily Post reports.

“We rejoice with you that the end of your tenure as President is greater than the beginning thereof. We present this award to you with great joy in our hearts.
“We wish to give you this award for your outstanding Christian humility in public service and commitment to peace, unity and stability of Nigeria,’’ he said.

Oritsejafor, also presented a special gift to Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, the Vice President-elect and his wife. He prayed for continued peace and unity of the country.

Meanwhile, Pastor Oritsejafor has prayed for the success of the coming administration of the president-elect, Muhammadu Buhari.
