The Vision of Project27 Africa is a Rural Africa populated with happy educated children. The Project takes children in rural Africa (27 at a time) on free Education and Fun Tours to places they would not otherwise be able to attend especially because financial difficulties.

How Tiwa Savage Caused The Feud Between Don Jazzy And Wande Coal

There is a new twist to the Don Jazzy versus Wande Coal saga as new reports allege that Tiwa Savage, the first lady of Mavin records is the source of the whole trouble.

Some hours ago, Don Jazzy accused former label mate Wande Coal for allegedly stealing one of his songs titled ‘Baby face’.

According to report, Tiwa and Don Jazzy were rejoicing over the positive responses from fans over the success of their recently released 'Eminado' video when she brought his attention to the released 'Baby Face' track.

A reliable source said, "Tiwa and Wande Coal haven't always been friends, and she was the one that brought Don Jazzy's attention to the baby face song. When Don Jazzy saw and heard the song, he was angry and had resolved to giving Wande Coal a call but Tiwa insisted that he should make it public."

Tiwa allegedly said, "He can not continue to steal from you, he should at least be respectful enough to credit you, if you don't do this, he will continue to steal your works, if you put it out on twitter, he'll know you are serious. It's wrong to always take people for granted."

Meanwhile, Tiwa Savage is known for always attacking anyone who offends on twitter.

Man Sentenced To 12 Strokes Of Whip For Stealing Fowl

A Minna Chief Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday sentenced one Abubakar Abdullahi to 12 strokes of the cane after pleading guilty to a charge of stealing a fowl.

Magistrate Hassan Mohammed gave the accused an option of N5,000 fine.

The police prosecutor, Sgt. Gunduma Ibrahim, had told the court that police men on patrol at Mobile Roundabout, Minna, arrested the convict with a fowl suspected to be stolen on Nov. 2. Ibrahim said the convict could not give a satisfactory account of how he got the animal, valued at N1,500.

He said the offence was contrary to the Penal Code of Niger.

When the charge was read to the convict, he pleaded guilty and begged the court for leniency.
The prosecutor had urged the court to try him summarily in line the Criminal Procedure Code, based on his plea.

About 200 victims that survived the stampede were taken hospitals in Onitsha and Nkpor where a lot of them were treated and discharged.

Nigerians Prepare For Solar Eclipse Today

Starting at midday today, young Nigerians would for the first time in their lives witness the solar eclipse, also known as eclipse of the sun.

Solar eclipse is an astronomical phenomenon that occurs when the moon moves between the earth and the sun, partially or completely blocking the rays of the sun hitting the earth. Direct blockage of the sun’s rays in this manner casts a shadow on the earth, resulting in partial or total eclipse, depending on where on earth the cosmic event occurs.

Solar eclipse happens because the moon is closer to the earth at an average distance of 384,400 km while the sun is about 150 million km from the earth.

To prepare Nigerians for the unique astronomical event expected to happen today, Director, Centre for Basic Space Science, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Prof. Fidelis Opara, has predicted the time the solar eclipse would be observed in different parts of the country.

According to him, the eclipse will occur in Abakaliki between 1.06pm and 4.09pm, in Ibadan between 12.52pm and 4.01pm, in Port Harcourt between 1.03pm and 4.09pm,in Enugu between 1.04pm and 4.07pm, in Lagos between 12.50pm and 4.01pm, in Kano between 1.07pm and 4.01pm; Abuja between 1.03pm and 4.03pm and in Uyo between 1.06pm to 4.09pm.

According to our insider, there is not much that Chris Brown can do about it either. They explained, "[Chris] lawyer can't really stop him from getting locked up. Only the judge can save Chris . . . but no one expects that to happen."

According to our insider Chris is expected to be locked up as early as next week.

Researchers investigating the effect of fruit and vegetables on the health of sperm discovered that carrots produced the best all-round results.

They had the greatest effect on ‘motility’ – a term used to describe the ability of sperm to swim towards an egg.

Researchers at Harvard University in the US asked almost 200 young men to follow diets containing a variety of fruit and veg before testing to see what effect it had on sperm.

Yellow and orange foods were found to help make the sperm stronger.

The boost was attributed to pigments called carotenoids because the body converts some of these into health-boosting antioxidants.

A teenager from Russia has sold her virginity for less than $30,000, it is reported.

The unnamed 18 year old - known only by the nickname Shatuniha - advertised on an online auction site describing her condition as 'new - not used'.

From Siberia, she proposed meeting in a hotel in the city of Krasnoyarsk where she wished to be paid before sleeping with the man who exceeded her minimum price.

A group of Nigerians has clashed with the police in India after they allegedly attacked a police vehicle carrying the body of a Nigerian who was said to have been stabbed to death in India’s beach state, Goa.The body of the man, whose name has not been revealed, was found with wounds in Mapusa town, triggering protests by angry Nigerians who removed the body from the van and kept it on the road, blocking traffic in the area.

NSCDC Uncover Human Parts Market At Ife Bush

Officials of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and some members of a vigilante group in Ile-Ife, Osun State, have discovered a place where some criminals are selling human parts.

Public Relations Officer, Osun NSCDC, Mr. Ayo Olowe, confirmed the incident. But human parts were not found at the shrine.

Haemorrhoids are swollen blood vessels in or around the anus and rectum. The haemorrhoidal veins are located in the lowest part of the rectum and the anus. Sometimes, they swell so that the vein walls become stretched, thin, and irritated by passing bowel movements. Haemorrhoids are classified into two general categories: internal and external.

Internal haemorrhoids lie far enough inside the rectum that you can’t see or feel them. They don’t usually hurt because there are few pain-sensing nerves in the rectum. Bleeding may be the only sign that they are there. Sometimes internal haemorrhoids  prolapse, or enlarge and protrude outside the anal sphincter. If so, you may be able to see or feel them as moist, pink pads of skin that are pinker than the surrounding area. Prolapsed haemorrhoids may hurt because they become irritated by rubbing from clothing and sitting. They usually recede into the rectum on their own; if they don’t, they can be gently pushed back into place.

External haemorrhoids lie within the anus and are often uncomfortable. If an external haemorrhoid prolapses to the outside (usually in the course of passing a stool), you can see and feel it. Blood clots sometimes form within prolapsed external haemorrhoids, causing an extremely painful condition called a thrombosis. If an external haemorrhoid becomes thrombosed, it can look rather frightening, turning purple or blue, and could possibly bleed. Despite their appearance, thrombosed haemorrhoids are usually not serious and will resolve themselves in about a week. If the pain is unbearable, the thrombosed haemorrhoid can be removed with surgery, which stops the pain.

Mother of Seven Caught In Lagos Trying To Dispose One Day Old Baby in Sack

A widow aged 40, who simply identified herself as Mujidat was caught on Wednesday with a dead day old baby she hid inside a sack around her residence at 2, Reverend Alimi Street, NEPA Phase I, Ijagemo in Iba 

Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, southwest Nigeria.

It came to the fore that a member of the community, High Chief Babatunde Balogun caught the mother of seven when she was trying to dispose the baby at about 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

When questioned on the content of the sack, she claimed she was coming from the market where she bought some household items.

However, on a closer look, Balogun discovered that the sack contained a dead day old baby the woman allegedly had just delivered.

Kanye West And Kim Kardashian Fight Over Proposal Video

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West sued a co-founder of YouTube on Thursday claiming he violated a confidentiality agreement by posting a video of the couple's marriage proposal to his new video-sharing website.

The couple's lawsuit states Chad Hurley wasn't invited to the elaborate Oct. 21 proposal at San Francisco's AT&T Park, but was allowed to stay because he signed an agreement not to post any video or images from the event. West allowed other cameras to film the event for possible broadcast on E! Entertainment Television, home to his fiancee's show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," according to the suit.

Hurley posted a fuzzy 2 1/2 minute long video on his new website MixBit, that showed West proposing to Kardashian while an orchestra played. The video also showed the ensuing celebration with Kardashian's family and invited guests toasting the newly-engaged couple.

Kardashian and West are seeking unspecified damages from Hurley and his company, Avos Systems Inc.

"Exclusive rights, such as those sold by plaintiffs to publication of video of the event, are particularly valuable," the lawsuit states. "If people violate these rights ... they are of substantially diminished value.

Movie executive David Picker has revealed he offered Sean Connery the deal of a lifetime to come back as James Bond one more time after learning producers of the franchise had treated him badly.

The United Artists head oversaw the Bond movies and was stunned when he learned Connery would not be back as 007 for his sixth film and he set about winning the Scot back for one more film, 1971's Diamonds Are Forever.

Picker tells BlogTalkRadio.com, "We approved everything but we weren't there for the day in and day out stuff of making the movie, so we were not aware that there was a problem with Sean. We had renegotiated the producers' deal several times because of the success of the movies and it turned out these guys had never gone to Sean and renegotiated his deal. They just figured he was lucky to have the role.

"When Sean said, 'Ok fellas, I'm outta here,' we didn't understand the reason why, and the producers obviously didn't want to tell us about the way they had treated him. We went and found a very nice gentleman in George Lazenby for On Her Majesty's Secret Service, which the public was clearly not interested seeing as James Bond.

4 Men Gang-Rape 15-Year-Old Virgin To Coma In Lagos

Three people have been arrested and one other declared wanted after it came to light that four of them allegedly raped a young girl to a point of coma.

The 15-year-old girl, simply identified as Vivian is currently fighting for her life in a private hospital in Ikorodu, Lagos.

It was revealed that she had gone to to collect lesson notes from her colleague, Tabiola. Tabiola then lured her to a place where three others were waiting to devour her virginity.

As soon as Tabiola walked in with Vivian, the suspects locked her inside a room where they forcefully stripped her naked.

She was then forcefully raped and was abandoned unconscious in a pool of blood

Investigators took pains to stress that it is not weight gain itself that is being tagged as a cause of autism. Nor do the current findings reflect in any way on how pre-pregnancy weight might affect the future offspring of mothers-to-be.

Apkpevwe Richard (a.k.a 2 Mark), a self-confessed member of the gang of the kidnap kingpin, Kelvin Onyiara, on Tuesday said Onyiara had over 300 trained abductors spread across several cells in the country.

OJB Discharged From Indian Hospital After Surgery
