No Fresh Case Of Ebola In Lagos
The Lagos

the public about some important information everyone need to know about
the deadly disease called Ebola.
The special Adviser to Lagos governor on Public Health,
Dr Mrs Yewande Adeshina has made a statement to debunk rumour going
round that some persons who are residents in Lagos are already carriers
of the deadly virus. Mrs Yewande revealed that none of the persons who

Also in line with that, the Commissioner for Information, Lateef

text messages round about the Ebola Disease that could heighten tension
and create anxiety. He reminded residents of the State to make use of
the emergency phone numbers – 08023169485, 08033086660, 08033065303,

environmental hygiene adding that they should visit hospitals or Primary
Health Centres nearest to them to report strange feelings noticed.

Nigerian Army Soldier Speaks On Mistreatment, Humiliation By Authorities
In his poignant message to Naij.com, Alhaji Danbaba expresses disappointment in the way our government and military authorities are mistreating and humiliating soldiers of Nigerian Army.
"First of all, I want the whole world to know that we, the Nigerian Military, are very brave and capable of fulfilling our responsibilities. We have done it Liberia, Sierra Leone, Mali, etc.
"But the era of us giving our best, sacrificing our lives for the nation that doesn’t value us the soldiers is now over. We’re done waiting patiently, enough is enough!
"Nigeria’s leaders, however, don’t love this country. That is why they are gambling with citizens’ lives.
"We, your protectors, are thrown in the middle of a battle with an empty stomach. Our families lack simplest amenities.
"We are not cowards but we die like
chickens because of our leaders’ selfish cravings to enrich themselves
even at the cost of our lives and subdue our families to everlasting
suffering.
"Our weapons are very poor. We buy our
uniforms and our kits on our own. Is it supposed to be like that? You
want the best from us how?

Does Sex Addiction Function Like Drug Addiction In The Brain?
A new study
suggests that sex addiction may work a lot like drug addiction in the
brain. There’s been a long debate about whether compulsive sexual
behavior – including frequent thoughts about sex, having sex, or
watching pornography – really falls into the family of addictions. It
was recently rejected for inclusion in the DSM-V, so right now it’s not
technically a disorder. But the authors of the new study report that the
same areas of the brain involved in drug addiction are activated when
“sex addicts” watch sexually explicit films. So maybe it’s not so
separate from addiction after all.
“There are clear differences in brain activity between patients who
have compulsive sexual behaviour and healthy volunteers. These
differences mirror those of drug addicts,” said study author Valerie
Voon of the University of Cambridge, where the study was conducted.
She and her team looked at 19 men who had compulsive
sexual behavior (CSB), including excessive use of online pornography,
and compared their brain activity to men without the behavior.
600 Specially Trained Soldiers To Be Deployed To Damboa
Six hundred specially trained commandos would be deployed in the troubled area of Damboa, Borno State, according to the leadership of the Nigerian military.
According to a security source,
the military personnel were specially trained within the country for
the purpose of strengthening the security presence in Damboa, which is
considered as one of the most volatile areas in the North-East.
The specially trained forces will be send to the area to replace some of the soldiers with affected morale in the area.
It was gathered that the military and the soldiers deployed in that
part of Borno State had become very skeptical about the sincerity of the
people following the ambushing and killing of an army officer, who was commanding the troop.
"The morale of the troops is seriously affected, with the killing of
their commander and there is the need to prevent them from acting
irrationally, to boost their morale," the source said.

Dokubo Asari Faults Jonathan's Comments On Buhari
Major political figure of the Ijaw ethnic group in the Niger
Delta region of Nigeria known for his populist views and an
anti-government stance, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari lambasted President
Goodluck Jonathan yesterday in Abuja.
It would be recalled that President Goodluck Jonathan had commented on the Kaduna attack fews days back, which left at least 82 people killed, according to report and was supposedly targeted at the former Head of State Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) saying Nigeria would have boiled if the former head of state had died in the attack.
However countering the statement of the president and making it known that he is not an ally of the presidency, Dokubo called the statement unnecessary as it is obviously that the president is placing the life of the retired general above over 82 other people that lost their lives in the incident. Punch reports that Dokubo made it known that the utterance of the president is tantamount to making just one insignificant Nigerian uncessarily important at the expense of many others who lost their lives.

Nigeria is on the verge of a break up - Bishop Oyedepo says
Speaking recently on the spate of bombings and attacks in the country, GO of the Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo said that Nigeria is on the verge of a break up.
"I hope that we are willing to find solution to it. I would be the last person in this world to believe that government has not discovered those who are behind Boko Haram. Otherwise, we don’t have any intelligence service in our country. Are they sacred cows that cannot be brought to book? Until we cut the source of their supplies and get those who are involved, we cannot stop them. But the danger is this, and I must say it here, we are at the verge of a break up. That is the truth. It’s unfortunate. The Nigerian nation is too intelligent to claim not to have discovered those who are behind this. So, I really believe it’s all in the hands of the authorities to decide whether they want to confront the issue headlong or to keep watching it until Nigeria breaks up......All that the church can do is to pray. The church is not in power, it has no political power. And when invited, we give advice, when required or called upon. You can’t call someone and say can I advise you?" - Bishop David Oyedepo
