Chibok Girls: 57 Gain Admission Into US School

57 Chibok schoolgirls who managed to escape from the captivity of the dreaded Boko Haram sect have reportedly gained admission into a school in the United States of America (USA).

The Centre for Promotion of Ethics, Values and National Integration (CENPEVNI) said it was able to secure the admission through its collaboration with other groups.

This was disclosed in Abuja by the executive director of the group, and project coordinator, Rehabilitation and Reintegration Outreach Mission (RROM), Dr Mercy Sokomba, at a one day Stakeholders Interactive Session on Effective Victim Support Strategies, Leadership reports.

She said: “The reality of this particular offer is if the girls are ready for another form of separation from their parents. However, we have initiated discussions with some leadership of the Chibok community and at some point will meet with them and the parents for consent.”

She said offers for completion of education of the girls, inclusive of scholarship, have been made to RROM through Stefanos Foundation and the international support groups of RROM while adding that they hope the funds and support partnership will consistently get to RROM for project sustainability within scheduled time frame so as not to hinder the progress the outreach mission has made so far.

American Doctor Proffers Cure For Ebola

An American doctor, Dr. Bill Gray has claimed that  he has technological remedy to help people infected with Ebola Virus recover.

According to a statement made available to P.M News, Dr.Gray, who is the Founder and Chairman, Coherence Apps LLC, said that Ebola death rate is about 50 per cent so far, meaning that with necessary treatment 50 per cent can recover to a full state of health.

He however, said the remaining 50 per cent can recover to a full state of health with his online technology therapy which is free.

The American doctor noted that his technology should be used as a preventive for those exposed to Ebola but not sick or for those that are sick for less than 48 hours.

“It is true that standard medicine has no proven cure to kill the virus and no vaccines. All that can be done is to enhance the body’s own ability to health itself — hydration (with intravenous fluids if necessary), rest, good nutrition, and careful hygiene are basic — as well as isolation and quarantine to protect family members and the community,” Dr.Gray said.

American Physician, Dr, Bill Gray
American Physician, Dr, Bill Gray

He informed that the use of homeopathy brings succour. “Modern technology finally brings another encouraging option, however. Homeopathy is a two-century-old science with remedies capable of stimulating the body to heal itself. Homeopathy actually became famous worldwide treating scarlet fever, smallpox, yellow fever, cholera, typhoid, etc. — all as intense as Ebola.

“Ordinarily, the difficulty in the chaos of Ebola is just getting to a homeopathic doctor or pharmacy to acquire a remedy. Not a problem nowadays!”

It was gathered that Gray’s homeopathic remedies have been made into electronic form that can be played for just 10 seconds over a cellphone! Sounding like mere white noise, the frequencies played actually help to heal.

“Coherence Apps LLC has created two eRemedies carefully chosen to stimulate healing forces of those suffering from Ebola — as well as enhancing prevention for those at risk of exposure. Fortunately, he was able to interview an internationally famous Ebola expert to gather detailed clinical symptoms needed to choose precise eRemedies for this epidemic.”
Also, all those interested in the remedy are advised to try out the therapy via a website. “Those interested in this perfectly safe method of healing Ebola sufferers can simply go to http://emergencyDr.org. On the Ebola page, follow instructions to take one or another of the eRemedies. They play for 10 seconds each time — with a benign white noise sound. … And, this service is completely free of charge.”

“Improvement in energy, fever and other symptoms can be expected within a day or so, often within hours,” the statement read.

Gray is a Stanford Medical School trained physician with 43 years of experience practicing and teaching homeopathy worldwide.

He has also an author and in 1999, published Homeopathy: Science or Myth? He is the co-founder of International Foundation of Homeopathy, principal instructor for IFH across US and co-founder of and core faculty member of Hahnemann College of Homeopathy in East Bay.

According to the World Health Organisation, WHO, the Ebola virus has killed no fewer than 1350 people, while 2473 cases have been confirmed since the outbreak that started early this year in West Africa.
Nigeria, Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia are currently battling to curtail the dreaded disease.

As a Theatre Art student, was it your desire to go into comedy?
No. I never knew I would be a stand-up comedian. I thank God any way. We went for a show at MUSON Centre (Lagos). We had a stage play performance. I used to make my friends laugh during rehearsals. So that day, we were waiting for the comedians that were supposed to perform at that event. So somebody suggested that I should go on the stage and perform. That was how it started. But the likes of Wale Adenuga encouraged me to go into it full time.

SHOCKER! President Obama To Be Sued By House Republicans

The US House of Representatives has passed a resolution to sue President Barack Obama for allegedly exceeding his constitutional powers. The 225-201 vote along party lines means House lawyers will now draft legal documents to launch a lawsuit.

Its supporters say Mr Obama exceeded his powers when he delayed an insurance deadline in his healthcare law. The president himself has dismissed it as a waste of time.”Everyone sees this as a political stunt,” he said.

“If they’re not going to do anything, we’ll do what we can on our own,” the president added. And we’ve taken more than 40 actions aimed at helping hardworking families like yours. That’s when we act – when your Congress won’t.”

The action is reportedly the first time either the House or Senate has brought legal action against a president over the legality of his powers, although members of Congress have sued the president before.

Republicans in Congress have complained that Mr Obama has exceeded his constitutional authority on numerous occasions, in order to bypass Congress by issuing executive orders.

They object, for instance, to his order unilaterally easing deportations of some young illegal immigrants, and the prison exchange that won the release of a US soldier held captive for five years by the Taliban.

Congressman Pete Sessions of Texas sponsored the resolution “This isn’t about Republicans or Democrats. It’s about defending the Constitution we swore an oath to,” Speaker John Boehner said during an impassioned debate in the House on Wednesday evening.

“Are you willing to let any president choose what laws to execute and what laws to change?” At issue was Mr Obama’s decision to twice delay requirements in his 2010 healthcare overhaul that businesses over a certain size provide their workers with health insurance.

Mr Obama has been forthright about his intentions to circumvent the gridlocked Congress when possible, noting frequently that the Republican-controlled House of Representatives has declined even to hold votes on Senate-passed bills on topics from immigration reform to g*y rights.BBC

In his poignant message to Naij.com, Alhaji Danbaba expresses disappointment in the way our government and military authorities are mistreating and humiliating soldiers of

"First of all, I want the whole world to know that we, the Nigerian Military, are very brave and capable of fulfilling our responsibilities. We have done it Liberia, Sierra Leone, Mali, etc.
"But the era of us giving our best, sacrificing our lives for the nation that doesn’t value us the soldiers is now over.  We’re done waiting patiently, enough is enough!

"Nigeria’s leaders, however, don’t love this country. That is why they are gambling with citizens’ lives.

"Our weapons are very poor. We buy our uniforms and our kits on our own. Is it supposed to be like that? You want the best from us how?

Does Sex Addiction Function Like Drug Addiction In The Brain?

A new study suggests that sex addiction may work a lot like drug addiction in the brain. There’s been a long debate about whether compulsive sexual behavior – including frequent thoughts about sex, having sex, or watching pornography – really falls into the family of addictions. It was recently rejected for inclusion in the DSM-V, so right now it’s not technically a disorder. But the authors of the new study report that the same areas of the brain involved in drug addiction are activated when “sex addicts” watch sexually explicit films. So maybe it’s not so separate from addiction after all.

“There are clear differences in brain activity between patients who have compulsive sexual behaviour and healthy volunteers. These differences mirror those of drug addicts,” said study author Valerie Voon of the University of Cambridge, where the study was conducted.

She and her team looked at 19 men who had compulsive sexual behavior (CSB), including excessive use of online pornography, and compared their brain activity to men without the behavior.

600 Specially Trained Soldiers To Be Deployed To Damboa

Six hundred specially trained commandos would be deployed in the troubled area of Damboa, Borno State, according to the leadership of the Nigerian military.

"The morale of the troops is seriously affected, with the killing of their commander and there is the need to prevent them from acting irrationally, to boost their morale," the source said.

Dokubo Asari Faults Jonathan's Comments On Buhari

Major political figure of the Ijaw ethnic group in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria known for his populist views and an anti-government stance, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari lambasted President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday in Abuja.

It would be recalled that President Goodluck Jonathan had commented on the Kaduna attack fews days back, which and was supposedly targeted at the former Head of State Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) saying Nigeria would have boiled if the former head of state had died in the attack.

However countering the statement of the president and making it known that he is not an ally of the presidency, Dokubo called the statement unnecessary as it is obviously that the president is placing the life of the retired general above over 82 other people that lost their lives in the incident. Punch reports that Dokubo made it known that the utterance of the president is tantamount to making just one insignificant Nigerian uncessarily important at the expense of many others who lost their lives.
